its cool
the emotive / illustrious ability of strong communicaticors. they transcended previous operational bottlenecks in their offerings (emotional state, hope, etc.) and it hits the same level of religious’s offerings…. i love it .we’ll believe in these feelings, the mind is setup to backpropogate getting its fix… and suddenly we’re a junkie.
a playful level of blaming the circumstancs, stating nothing is wrong with you, or tapping into something that everything is wrong with you and sells you on the intensity of painting a visual picture of your mind of extreme change / conditions - as though it makes up for the utter lack you feel now.
love it. beautiful. in fact, i see this an analogous in many institutional methods. its setup as its own institution in a way, and thus doesn’t particularly solve for or do the work on the specific edge case(s) (which is EVERY individual case btw) at scale.
and its helpful… after all, energetically charged communciation, reprimanding, and societal constructs (eg the feeling you sense non verbally and internalize, of shame or something, from things like comparative behaviors (school performance, where you work, live, relationship status, etc.) is all so … constantly extractive. thus, just like religion, or anything really, i am glad this exists and people do benefit from it as opposed to other objectively bad behaviors.
but…
improving your life means working on those items. discernment to detach yourself and just work on those, process the bad feelings… thats about it. its not done through engagement on screen or seminars. its you deciding for yourself and fully integrating / embodying it, as you refine and update it. processing.
meditation is largely NOT doing something. its the completely opposite, counter intuitive. its directionless and aimless. and the mind / human brain is incredible… it shall just process things. youre already set up to do so. just discard the things keeping you from it. visual stimuli is extremely taxxign too - the simple act of keeping your eyes closed for longer than 10 seconds can do wonders to your cognition - in real time.
so… life improvement. work on the things themselves. its not you. your skillset/occupation/financial cirucmstances or … whatever the thing is, its not you. you can work on the thing itself. you can identify its state, how or where it is, and where you want to attack. start with that dissatisfaction by sittting with it. its your compass.
